Light therapy and e-stim in Lincoln, NE

Two gentle, drug-free tools I add to acupuncture for stubborn pain, tight muscles and slow-healing injuries.

Two tools, one goal

Light biomodulation

Red and near-infrared light is aimed at the sore area for a few minutes. It feels warm, quiet and painless. I use it to support circulation and recovery in muscles, joints and tendons.

E-stim

A very mild current runs between a few acupuncture needles. You feel a light tapping or tingling. It is especially helpful for back pain, sciatica and muscles that won’t let go.

What a session is like

We start by talking through where it hurts and what has changed since your last visit. Needles go in first, then I add light or e-stim to the areas that need more help. You rest for 20 to 30 minutes in a warm, quiet room. Most people find it deeply relaxing.

Light and e-stim are often part of care for

Low back pain and sciatica · Neck and shoulder pain · Knee and joint pain · Tendon and sports injuries · Muscle tension that keeps coming back
